Tomorrow, Monday, July 13, 2020, is another day of explosive revelations at Lagos Talks 91.3 FM, when Sadiq & The Guru take command of the Nigerian airwaves, from 0930-1100 hours, live, doing justice to review of topical issues. The Guru is inviting you to specifically prepare yourself for tomorrow’s flight because it is going to come like none before it, as some of the facts you shall be listening to, might shock you beyond the enduring capacity of your shock-absorbers. Let’s preview a few.
Permit me to add that none of these items for preview (here today) is closer to the real bumper-harvest of what comes your way tomorrow.
The Honourable Minister of State in the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity is not yielding an inch on his taken-position against the onslaught and ferocious attack from the National Assembly against him. He says “I am not bound by what the President of the Senate has said”. Huh? How is that possible.
We need to understand the dynamics of issues at play. There is need for us to look at the Nigerian Constitution’s interpretations of of the conflict, the National Assembly’s parochial view, “limitation of Constitutional Supervisions” by those Honourable and Distinguished members of the National Assembly, and the “constitutionally-assigned role of oversight function” to these same members.
And maybe, the most overriding dynamics we must look at is the whopping sum of 52 Billion Naira at play. You may want to analyse the “sharing formula” of that mouth-watering sum, and quickly discard any one telling you that “the money is not the issue”. At the Nigerian National Assembly, ditto almost other public institutions in Nigeria, “money is the unifying, and as well as disseminating factor”. Any claim to the contrary is a fallacy of Nigeria’s reality.
Then let us pay a quick but brief visit to the personal Stand of Senator Godswill Akpabio at the Nigerian Trade Fair Complex of Forensic Auditing at the NDDC Ground, for some evaluations. In just within 3 months of going to the Ministry of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio’s Interim Management Committee had gulped only 40 Billion Naira.
That shouldn’t be an issue for a man who holds a solemn ideology that “what money cannot do, more money will do it”.
But it will be a different kettle of tea entirely when the Akpabio’s IMC is admitting using “N1.5 Billion to take care of ourselves as COVID19 palliative”. Are you shouting “Nigeria wonders” already? Hold your breath until you hear some details of how the NDDC, under Akpabio, started dealing with COVID19 palliatives in Nigeria in October 2019 (COVID19 got to Nigeria on February 27, 2020), ever before the Pandemic broke out in Wuhan – China, in November 2019.
Did you heard what l have just said?
Nigeria was already dealing with COVID19 ever before it manifested in China!
This “gospel truth of revelation” are according to the “epistle” of the Acting Managing Director of the NDDC – Kenebradikumo Pondei. Listen to one of his testimonies:
“The remaining fund was spent on staff of the commission. . . we use it to take care of ourselves”, adding, “we are NDDC, we need to take care of ourselves too”.
To the Nigerian god of money alone can such glory of financial recklessness and untamed stealing of public fund be attributed.
A police Inspector shot and killed a motorcycle rider in Imo State, last week Thursday (July 9, 2020) because the “Okada” rider wasn’t wearing face mask and refused to bribe home the policeman – of 50 Naira – maybe.
Miyetti Allah has spoken again. The statement credited to this Fulani National Umbrella this time around, and as reported by the Vanguard Newspaper, is that all the Kidnappers and Rapists troubling Nigeria “are from Zamfara, Niger, Kaduna, Bauchi and Katsina States of Nigeria”. Good revelation except that the Miyetti Allah refused to tell us what tribe these troublers of Nigerians are from. They may be telling us one day soon, when they are happy.
Do you know how much a Nigerian Senator takes home daily – both in salary and allowance? Those Senators we Nigerian elected, daily earning is N466,849.315 (Four Hundred and Sixty Six Thousand, Eight Hundred and Forty Nine Naira, Three Hundred and Fifteen Kobo). This is what they take off us every day, including Saturdays, Sundays, and when they are even on recess. No wonder Nigeria shall never develop forever and ever!
The Guru shall give you all the details tomorrow, by the grace of God.
There is a very rich Historical Perspective waiting for you tomorrow, as well as a tantalizing Knowledge Dropbox.
