Sheikh Ahmad Gumi: The Nigerian cleric who negotiates with bandits - BBC News

Sheik Ahmad Abubakar Gumi

Gumi’s atomic bomb might be worse than Putin’s nuclear weapon

  • Fulani and bandits are same – according to Gumi
  • Miyetti Allah are the same as bandits also – according to Gumi
  • The Fulani/herders/nomadic must be settled by the federal government
  • Sheik Ahmad Gumi told Buhari what to do before leaving Power
  • Nigeria must pay the Fulani/Jihadist Trillion of Naira before Muhammadu Buhari departs – according to Gumi
  • A Commission like Niger Delta Development Commission [NDDC] must be created for the Fulani Miyette Allah – according to Gumi
  • These must be done before . . . Gumi emphasized
  • Nigerian is in deep trouble than they imagined
  • What Sheik Gumi is carrying to the Nigerian market place is larger than the atomic bombs that dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945
  • Can Nigeria survive Sheik Gumi’s attack?

The Guru was thinking very seriously about what his menu on the topics of discussion at the studio of Lagos Talks 91.3 FM, at the segment of Adu & The Guru, tomorrow, Monday, June 6, 2022, would be when the SHEIK AHMAD ABUBAKAR GUMI’s direct message to President Muhammadu Buhari on what he must do before considering departing office on May 29, 2023, came in. Permit me to go back to the beginning, please.

The search for what the topics on the Menu of tomorrow – Monday, June 6, 2022, by The Guru was not for lack of topical issues within the Nigerian landscape. No, it couldn’t have been, because at any given time, of material particular, there are more than millions of issues in Nigeria to discuss – albeit within the intensity of abnormality that have taken over affairs of this country.

We should not forget that the trajectory of those bonding cords that built up this country called Nigeria – as so named by that beautiful Lady Journalist from the London Times; Dame Flora Louise Shaw; later to become Lady Lugard, have not really at any given time, made sense, as the story of the integrity of the Nigerian oneness has taken a deeper dive into the “CITY” of Abyss – and drastically too, from the days of Muhammadu Buhari – not as Military Head of State [1984-1986], but his days as a democratically elected President, from 2015 till date.

So, in midst of these many contending topical national issues for discussion, I came across this revelation of Sheik Gumi’s advise to his co-Fulani man – Muhammadu Buhari; the President and  Commander-in-Chief of Nigerian Armed Forces.

You wait a little to hear just a bit of what this Islamic Clergy told his brother – our President, Muhammadu Buhari, to do for the Miyetti Allah, FUNAM or call them Fulani Nationality, Jihadists, Bandits or any other name you may want to call them, before leaving office. Listen to him just a bit.

He said: “The children that were killing and kidnapping people opened their doors freely to us when we visited because they heard we were there to preach the gospel, all they want is to dialogue. Send them people that they respect to dialogue with them and they will listen by the grace of God and this problem will be resolved.

“Everyone is to blame for their actions, including the bandits. They feel the world has developed and left them behind, all the injustice being meted out to them. “How do we resolve this, we need to walk amongst them, embrace and ensure that all they deserve is given to them. The havoc they are causing is hindering farming; villages have been displaced because they feel that they were also displaced from their homes.

“We are at war and the solution is what was done for the people of the Niger Delta, how the government got them justice and even gave them a Ministry, why can’t the government give us a Ministry of Nomadic Affairs? Education will be inclusive and empowering, and hospitals. “They still have respect and behave like everyone else when you meet with them, we need to come together, politicians, security agencies, traditional and religious leaders and assist them. They are acting out because they have been pushed to the wall, since the inception of Nigeria as a country; they have never gotten real assistance. “Now gather all their monies and give to them. Calculate how much you have given to the Niger Delta region since they started their agitations, I heard it is running into trillions, so the Fulani want theirs, gather all their monies and give to them, I am calling on the President, before you leave office, hand over the money, meet their leaders to get to them. 99.9 per cent of Fulanis are peace-loving, only 0.1 cents are causing all the havoc, which is not being caused for mere mischief but because they have been pushed to the wall”.

“We have to engage these people to have a positive result, my only fear is the infiltration of terrorists into their midsts, it’s a factor we have to consider seriously and even the terrorists themselves, I think there is neglect. Until now, Boko Haram is not a hopeless case, so we have to protect our herdsmen from their infiltration.”

The Islamic scholar claimed that the Fulanis have been wrongly demonised and feel alienated. He maintained that with dialogue and genuine commitment to peace, those who engage in kidnapping and banditry which have complicated security situations in both the North West and North-Eastern part of the country would surrender their arms.

The Islamic scholar particularly tasked the Muhammadu Buhari administration to create a Ministry of Nomadic Affairs to mitigate herders-farmers clashes. He also demanded that adequate funds, in trillions to match the appeasement of Niger Delta militants with the creation of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs be done for the bandits.

Permit me to ask one very sincere question, please. If you are in the position of The Guru, and you came across this type of frightening news item, would you want to discuss other matters without settling down on this atomic bomb in the hands of this greatly respected Cleric?

It is for the reason of your answer that The Guru has decided to bring this subject matter as the main issue of discussion tomorrow at the studio of Lagos Talks 91.3 FM, with The Nigerian People’s Parliament, and you – listeners, from all over the globe.
